Welcome to Baddow Park

Couples looking for a wedding venue with a personal homely feel should take a look at Baddow Park.

The 1890 mansion house belongs to Annie Gough whose father bought the property, in West Hanningfield Road, in 1945. The house, which boasts a grand entrance hall and staircase, sits within 60 acres of grounds, providing various options for your special day. The venue can offer civil wedding ceremonies in either the panelled dining room or the conservatory. As the venue is home to Annie, couples looking to wed there are offered a very personal and bespoke occasion.

Annie say's "I do not do packages. I would rather people came and looked at the house to make sure they love it; then we can sit down and talk about what they want. Baddow Park is your place for the day. It does not feel as though it is a commercial operation as it is our home. It is more like staying with a friend. It is more personal - I will do as much or as little as people want. We can accommodate up to 300 people in a marquee in the garden. Or if they want a much bigger occasion, our grounds allow us to cater for thousands. We have a very special venue for any celebration."

Your wedding album will be something very special as the variety of locations available both inside the house and the magnificent grounds offer photographers the perfect canvas on which to work.

Baddow Park can help organise catering, vintage cars, horse drawn carriages, marquees, flowers and even croquet on the lawn.
