A Tale of Two Weddings

REBECCA AND JAMIE

An adventure begins…

Despite facing Covid -19 restrictions, Rebecca and Jamie eventually got to hold their long-awaited intimate wedding ceremony in May, and then, a few months later, in July, they held a large celebration surrounded by all their family and friends at Baddow Park House Wedding Venue.

A VERY UNIQUE AFFAIR

The team at Baddow Park House was privileged to be able to host the wedding celebrations of this special couple, who, after many months of having to re-schedule their wedding plans had become almost like family. Discover how Rebecca and Jamie felt about their incredible wedding journey with Baddow Park House.

Dear Baddow Park

‘Where do we even begin with Baddow Park House. The most INCREDIBLE venue! We were lucky enough to have had two celebrations here, our beautifully intimate, Covid friendly 30-person wedding and our wedding reception a few months later with all of our family and friends.

Simply perfect

‘Everything about Baddow Park was simply perfect; the décor and the gardens were stunning and truly luxurious, yet we felt so at home and so comfortable. The attention to detail and personalisation of the bedrooms made it feel like the most opulent boutique hotel (we really didn’t ever want to leave the bridal suite!
The gardens were so well tended and looked after that it wouldn’t matter what time of year you got married; they look fantastic all year-round.
The Orangery is jaw-droppingly beautiful and so unique to Essex, you won’t find another venue as stunning as this in the county (we looked at many before finding Baddow Park House!)

Five star service

Baddow staff quite literally offer a 5-star service; nothing is too much trouble – everyone greets you with a smile and they all do their utmost to look after you.
We were made to feel special by everyone there, from the wait staff & catering staff who serve the most delicious food & drink (our guests are still raving about our wedding breakfast months later) and our food tasting to choose our wedding menu was absolutely phenomenal.
I can’t not mention the stone-baked pizzas we had for our wedding reception, wow, the best-tasting pizza ever – we felt sad that we didn’t get to consume more of it as we were busy chatting to guests, only to find a box of pizza had been left for us in our bridal suite by the staff at the end of the evening… I can’t tell you how amazing that tasted at 2 o’clock in the morning!

True friends

A special shout out to the team of resident caterers for your exceptional food & service, the lovely Front of House Manager, Jo, for everything (truly you are amazing), Our lovely Wedding Coordinator, Gaynor who executed everything perfectly and Kelly the Group Operations Manager who managed our booking from start to finish and was fantastic at dealing with all of the changing rules and regulations during 2020/2021.
We were made to feel like a true friend by everyone and not just a booking, everything is full of personal touches and the staff are so warm and accommodating.
‘We truly feel sad that we will no longer be regularly visiting Baddow Park House, which felt like a home from home, but we definitely plan on coming back one day (perhaps for an anniversary party in a few years!). We’d recommend this venue a thousand times over to anyone considering getting married or celebrating here. You absolutely won’t regret it’.
