When you choose Baddow Park House as your wedding venue, the stunning scenery of our landscaped gardens will provide a picture-perfect backdrop that you and your guests will remember with fondness for years to come.

Sympathetically curated to reflect the breathtaking surroundings, the natural materials and seasonal flora throughout our grounds will help to bring a sense of serenity, tranquillity and effortless beauty to your special day.

The Lawns

Enveloped by verdant lawns, Baddow Park House effortlessly blends in with the stunning scenery of the surrounding countryside. Ensuring that you feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of life on your wedding day.

With the impressive architecture of the house behind you, the large manicured lawn is the ideal space for your wedding photographer to get creative with group shots. And beyond the lawn, our spacious grounds provide plenty of intimate and eye-catching spaces to capture all the special moments of your marriage celebrations.

Despite their meticulous appearance, our gardens are here to be enjoyed, and we encourage you to make full use of them if you wish to do so. Whether that’s with some fun lawn games, or simply for children and your 4-legged furry guests to run off steam.

The Terrace

Leading off from The Orangery, you’ll find our expansive south-facing sun terrace. Edged with fragrant flowers, it’s the perfect location for post-ceremony mingling accompanied by a glass of celebratory champagne and canapes.

After providing a beautifully warm setting during the day and as the sun moves, the shadow of the house transforms the terrace into a peaceful place to cool off and relax on. With soft backlighting illuminating the area once dusk settles.

We have taken great care to ensure that the natural stone paving is flat and even, making it accessible for all your guests to enjoy – plus it’s high-heel friendly!

The Pavillion

Constructed from oak and slate, the pavilion sits perfectly within the gardens. Protected from the elements from above but open to nature on all four sides, it makes a stunning location to say your vows to one another surrounded by the love of your guests.

The aisle is a continuation of the natural stone terrace, so you don’t have to worry about heels sinking into the lawn or dirty soles as you make your way beneath the ivy-covered pergola towards your future spouse.

You don’t have to use the pavilion for your ceremony, and if you choose not to, it still makes a lovely spot for photos or to just sit beneath, chat, relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.

Log Shed Bar

Our log shed bar is not the typical garden shed you might be imagining. It’s a work of art. Conscientiously constructed using real wood logs to make an outside bar that’ll get your guests talking for all the right reasons.

Did someone say cocktails?

We’re renowned for making some of the finest cocktails in the area. The Baddow Park House mixologists will create a menu that reflects the essence of your wedding, finding the perfect balance of flavour to quench the thirst of your guests, day and night.

As your celebrations continue into the evening, why not balance out the cocktails with wood-fired pizzas or a gourmet barbeque? It’s the perfect end to a perfect day.

The Woodland & Fire-Pit

Fields and trees surround Baddow Park House, making it your very own wedding oasis. Whether taking a romantic walk under the leafy canopy, a moment to reflect and enjoy the scenic view from a bench or swinging from the boughs of a majestic tree, everyone will enjoy some time in the woodland.

Set back from the house in its own secluded space, you’ll find our circular firepit. Sheltered from the wind and beautifully down-lit, it’s a magical place to unwind towards the end of your wedding day.

With cushions and blankets for ultimate comfort, you can spend quality time with your beloved, family and friends sharing stories from the day, whilst toasting marshmallows and getting cosy in front of the flames.
